The Scottish Borders is an area of outstanding beauty and tranquillity and is a relatively undiscovered location for visitors.  Its soft rolling hills, dotted with sheep, and its long wind-swept valleys and glens, slow-moving rivers and beautiful lochs, not to mention its picturesque villages and market towns are a far cry from the rugged grandeur of the Highlands but are equally enticing and have their very own allure.
