Derek (Balloch), Colin (Edinburgh, Murdoch (Glasgow), Andrea (Germany) & Marie (Glasgow/Germany)
I really enjoyed Saturday's 'Really Big Tour of Glasgow'. I was joined by Derek (Nikon) for his third time out with us, Colin (Canon) and his father, Murdoch (Canon), Andrea (Canon) and her daughter, Marie (Canon). Only one wee hail shower threatened what was otherwise a cracking day. There was even a wee bit of sunburn at the end of the day. Can you believe it? We clocked up quite a few miles, taking in Kelvingrove Park, Kelvingrove Gallery, the Riverside Transport Museum and the fabulous Govan Old Parish Church, amongst other things. Colin and Murdoch headed back into town after 4 hours or so, but the rest of our merry gang continued through the Merchant City, up to the Cathedral and the Necropolis. then we headed down to the Tolbooth, Tron and eventually down to the Clydeside. i'm not sure about the rest, but i was ready for a wee cuppa and a seat after all that! I've already had some feedback and it has all been very positive. You can see some of Derek's pics from the day on the Clients Gallery and on our Facebook page. Canny wait for the next tour. Who' coming...?
